Assistant Manager Design Management Architect (Project-Based)

About the role

The Assistant Manager Design Management Architect supports the Design Manager in delivering high‑quality architectural projects on a project‑based basis. You will monitor consultant outputs, manage contracts, and ensure design compliance throughout planning and construction phases.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, review, and evaluate consultant deliverables across all design stages.
• Manage contracts, billing, and issuance for consultants assigned to projects.
• Lead design coordination meetings and conduct site inspections.
• Coordinate architectural, engineering, and landscape design trades.
• Perform technical coordination during planning and construction.
• Prepare detailed reports, respond to design queries, and ensure budget and code compliance.
• Support design standardization and maintain project documentation.
• Research material trends, construction innovations, and competitive benchmarks.

Required profile

• Licensed Architect or Engineer.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• SketchUp proficiency is a plus.
• Experience in design management preferred.
• Excellent communication, organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.
