Back-End Engineer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Back-End Engineer to design and build scalable, secure, high‑performance server‑side services and APIs for our clients. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere in the Philippines while collaborating with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend services and RESTful APIs.
• Build and evolve server‑side logic, database schemas, and system integrations.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and responsiveness across distributed systems.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and QA to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Implement automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring to ensure production stability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional backend development experience.
• Proven experience with Java, C#, Node.js, Python or Go.
• Strong background in RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with relational (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD workflows.
