About the role
The APAC Trade Compliance Analyst supports export control compliance across the Asia‑Pacific region, ensuring that 3M’s products and partners meet all regulatory requirements. This position requires fluency in English and Mandarin and works closely with cross‑functional teams to maintain data quality, manage licences, and resolve shipment blocks.
Key responsibilities
- Provide operational support for export control matters in APAC and the U.S., including business‑partner, product, and end‑use screening.
- Manage licence applications, monitor shipment block reviews, and resolve related issues.
- Maintain trade and regulatory data standards, documentation, and process controls.
- Support internal and external audits, and conduct annual compliance effectiveness reviews.
- Collaborate with Legal, Regional Compliance Managers, and business teams on screening, ECCN classifications, and regulatory escalations.
- Lead continuous‑improvement initiatives for screening processes and compliance controls.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Management or a related field.
- 3‑5 years of experience in trade compliance, export controls, or a related discipline.
- Ability to work aligned with Singapore time zone.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin.
