Senior Federal Subcontract Administrator

About the role

AECOM is seeking a Senior Federal Subcontract Administrator to join its DCS Federal Procurement Group. The role supports government‑focused projects by managing the full lifecycle of subcontracts for services, environmental remediation, materials, equipment, and rentals.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Program and Project Managers with federal procurement processes.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, FAR, DFARS, and contract flow‑down requirements.
• Solicit, award, and administer subcontracts from micro‑purchase to CESAT thresholds.
• Prepare proposals in response to federal RFPs and conduct market research to identify new sources.
• Negotiate terms, price, and schedule with subcontractors and perform price/cost analysis.
• Maintain pre‑ and post‑award administration, including documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum five years of end‑to‑end subcontracting and procurement experience supporting U.S. Federal projects.
• Strong oral and written communication and negotiation abilities.
• Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS).
• Experience with environmental remediation, materials/equipment, or rental contracts is a plus.
