AI Application Developer

About the role

We are looking for an AI Application Developer to design, build and maintain AI‑driven applications that ingest and process both structured and unstructured knowledge‑base data. You will work closely with data scientists and product teams to deliver reliable pipelines and retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support AI applications that extract, process and store data from sources such as Excel files, PDFs, images and databases.
• Build and optimise data pipelines for machine‑learning models, ensuring data quality and efficient processing.
• Implement document parsing, text preprocessing and chunking strategies for RAG systems.
• Design workflows that retrieve relevant information and inject context into AI prompts.
• Develop backend services using Python frameworks (e.g., Django, FastAPI) and integrate them via APIs.
• Support containerised deployments with Docker and Kubernetes and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to test, deploy and continuously improve AI models, reducing hallucinations and enhancing response accuracy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, IT or a related field.
• Experience in AI/ML, data engineering or backend development with production‑level AI systems.
• Strong understanding of embeddings, vector databases and RAG architecture.
• Proven problem‑solving and analytical abilities, with effective communication skills.
