Accounting Manager – Retail Multi‑Store Operations

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function for a multi‑store retail business. The role ensures accurate daily financial processing, timely reporting, and strong financial discipline across all outlets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and evaluate the accounting team, assigning tasks and ensuring the accuracy of all financial reports.
• Oversee the validation, posting and submission of daily sales reports from every store.
• Supervise supplier invoice processing, payment requests and ensure timely, compliant payments.
• Implement and enforce internal controls, maintain audit‑ready documentation and coordinate with auditors.
• Improve accounting workflows for efficiency and develop management‑level financial reports.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Proven experience in retail or multi‑branch operations.
• Strong leadership, high attention to detail and ability to handle high‑volume transactions under tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with accounting systems and advanced MS Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
