Workstation Deployment Engineer

About the role

Thrive is seeking a Workstation Deployment Engineer to join its rapidly growing Managed Services team. The role focuses on building, imaging, and deploying workstations for multiple clients, ensuring a smooth onboarding and off‑boarding experience.

Key responsibilities

• Follow processes and procedures defined by the Workstation Deployment Manager for workstation builds, including peripheral configuration.
• Receive, recondition, and redeploy used equipment in accordance with inventory and shipping guidelines.
• Maintain accurate documentation, prioritization, communication, and escalation records.
• Collaborate closely with the deployment manager to achieve high client satisfaction and identify service improvement opportunities.
• Conduct post‑deployment follow‑up, gather customer feedback, and relay insights to internal teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, technical degree, or equivalent work experience.
• 1–2 years of desktop support or imaging experience.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to work both independently and within a team.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Willingness to work outside standard hours or participate in an on‑call rotation when required.
