Water Treatment Operator

About the role

The Water Treatment Operator will oversee the daily operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities, ensuring that all processes meet quality, environmental and safety standards. The role is based in Masinloc, Zambales and requires strict adherence to standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor treatment plant equipment to maintain optimal process parameters.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical and chemical systems.
• Document operational data, prepare reports and ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
• Handle and dispose of chemicals safely according to established procedures.
• Interpret technical manuals, SOPs and process documentation to guide daily activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (licensure preferred).
• Minimum two years of experience in water or wastewater treatment plant operations, or completion of a relevant cadetship program.
• Strong analytical mindset with proven troubleshooting abilities.
• Effective communication skills for email, radio and telephone interactions.
• Positive attitude and commitment to safe work practices.
