Video Compliance Specialist - Freelance, Remote

About the role

A growing digital media company that creates short-form video and visual content with AI tools is looking for a freelance, remote Video Compliance Specialist. The specialist reviews creator-submitted videos to ensure they meet brand requirements, campaign guidelines and content briefs, giving creators clear, actionable feedback. The role is paid $5 per hour, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM US business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Review about 100-150 videos per day, around 15 per hour, and check them against brand policies, campaign requirements, content briefs and review guidelines.
• Flag violations, inconsistencies and non-compliant content, then explain flagged issues to creators and give constructive feedback on how to improve the content.
• Handle creator questions and disagreements professionally, using sound judgment and common sense.
• Document review outcomes and escalate unclear or complex cases to the manager.
• Follow the team's procedures, apply guidelines consistently, and attend team check-ins and video meetings with the camera on.

Required profile

• Strong English comprehension and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and consistency on repetitive review work; ability to meet daily targets without sacrificing accuracy.
• Reliable attendance and accountability, working Monday to Friday during scheduled hours.
• Own computer with at least 8GB RAM and an Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor or higher, plus a headset with noise-cancelling mic, webcam, backup computer and internet, and a quiet workspace.
• Internet speed of at least 40 Mbps.

Required skills

• Content moderation, quality assurance, compliance or video review experience.
