Unit Head – Project Management

About the role

The Unit Head, Project Management is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and successful delivery of a portfolio of IT projects. This role ensures that all initiatives align with the company’s business strategy and drive key performance indicators such as customer satisfaction, transaction volume, and revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive the strategic roadmap for multiple IT projects across their full lifecycle.
• Oversee project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure using established methodologies.
• Develop, manage, and track budgets for the entire project portfolio.
• Align project outcomes with business objectives and KPI targets.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams and mentor junior project managers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 8‑10+ years of progressive IT project management experience, including leadership of complex initiatives.
• 3‑5+ years in a leadership or directorial role managing project teams.
• Significant experience in the financial services or payments industry, with knowledge of cards, payments, and loans.
