Solutions Architect – Banking Technology

About the role

The Solutions Architect will design and govern technology solutions that support the bank’s business objectives, enterprise architecture standards, and digital transformation initiatives. Acting as a bridge between business and technology teams, the role translates requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable designs.

Key responsibilities

• Design end‑to‑end solution architectures aligned with enterprise strategy, business capabilities, and technology standards.
• Lead architectural design and implementation across multiple business applications, platforms, and technology initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, project teams, application architects, and infrastructure teams to define solution requirements and technical roadmaps.
• Review and evaluate technology solutions for compliance with architecture principles, security, and regulatory standards.
• Develop and maintain architecture standards, design patterns, frameworks, and governance processes.
• Assess emerging technologies and industry trends to identify innovation opportunities.
• Facilitate evaluation, selection, and implementation of software products, platforms, and services.
• Ensure architecture compliance through design reviews, governance activities, and solution assurance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in solution or enterprise architecture, systems design, or related technology leadership roles.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, stakeholder‑management, and communication skills.
• Experience leading complex technology transformation projects in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries is an advantage.
• Familiarity with banking systems, information‑security principles, data‑privacy requirements, technology governance, and regulatory compliance standards.
