Transaction Diligence Manager

About the role

SGV, the largest professional services firm in the Philippines and a member firm of Ernst & Young, is hiring a Transaction Diligence Manager in Makati City. The role sits in the Transactions and Corporate Finance practice, which advises clients on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and capital raising. As manager, you will lead financial diligence projects, evaluate business performance and forecast assumptions, and coach and develop staff.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage financial due diligence engagements for M&A and transaction-related projects
• Analyze financial performance, trends and key business drivers to identify risks and opportunities
• Evaluate business forecasts and assumptions and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
• Prepare and review due diligence reports, presenting key findings and recommendations
• Collaborate with senior management, clients and cross-functional teams throughout the transaction process
• Mentor, coach and develop junior team members

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy or finance with at least five years of relevant work experience
• CPA license would be advantageous
• Ideally, proven experience in audit and/or M&A transactions within a large professional services environment

Required skills

• Strong analytical skills to assess financial and non-financial information
• Excellent communication, presentation, report-writing and networking skills
• Ability to build effective client and stakeholder relationships
