Senior Associate - Business Consulting Finance

About the role

SGV, the largest professional services firm in the Philippines, is hiring a Senior Associate for its Business Consulting Finance practice in Makati City. The role sits within the Finance services offering, which supports clients with financial management and strategic planning, covering financial forecasting, performance enhancement and risk assessment advisory. The salary is described as competitive.

Key responsibilities

• Act as direct point of contact for the client and team, speak regularly with the client and begin to own the client relationship
• Manage difficult client relationships and understand the account management framework to resolve engagement issues
• Develop clear, impactful presentations and explain complex technical and business concepts simply to clients
• Proactively manage client expectations and take initiative in client interactions
• Assist in developing and executing strategic plans for client businesses, including growth opportunities and operational improvements
• Meet or exceed consulting utilization targets
• Support associates through feedback, coaching, delegation and growth suggestions, and hold difficult performance discussions
• Manage stakeholder relationships with client teams, vendors and internal team members
• Supervise and review team members' work, coordinate service quality program materials and deliverables, and discuss technical issues with Senior Associates and managers

Required profile

• At least 3 years of relevant work experience, including supervisory experience or handling a team
• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy (BSA)
• Other acceptable degrees mentioned: BSMA, BSAT, BSMA-FM, BSME, BSIE

• Superior analytical skills and ability to spot complex technical concerns quickly
• Able to handle multiple engagements of different difficulty levels
• Ability to meet local performance objectives on client service, quality, risk management, solution development and teaming
