Train Operator

About the role

The Train Operator will safely operate MRT‑7 revenue trains, ensuring punctual service and passenger safety while following all operating procedures and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate assigned revenue trains according to the approved timetable and standard operating procedures.
• Perform pre‑departure inspections and report any abnormalities or faults.
• Communicate safety reminders, station names and service updates to passengers.
• Assist with turn‑back operations, test trains, inspection trains and train shunting as needed.
• Execute intervention procedures during train failures and, when required, perform train hauling safely.
• Support trainees and newly hired operators through a buddy system during OJT.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical‑related field, preferably Engineering.
• Valid driver’s license (non‑professional) is preferred.
• Fresh graduates are welcome; up to one year of relevant experience is an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of train operation regulations and safety procedures.
• Ability to conduct pre‑departure inspections and report technical issues.
