Trade Marketing Officer

About the role

Join McDonald’s as a Trade Marketing Officer and help drive brand awareness, market share, and restaurant profitability through strategic local store marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Local Store Marketing (LSM) strategies, promotions, and sales‑building initiatives.
• Source, negotiate, and manage strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and tie‑ups.
• Plan and execute trade‑area activations, co‑branded promotions, community engagements, and Large Food Order opportunities.
• Collaborate with Operations, Owner Operators, and cross‑functional teams to ensure successful execution of local marketing programs.
• Evaluate campaign effectiveness, analyze sales and market trends, monitor budgets, and provide performance recommendations.
• Conduct restaurant visits to ensure compliance with brand standards and proper execution of marketing initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience in trade marketing, local store marketing, partnerships, events, or brand activation.
• Strong project management, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to analyze sales performance and translate insights into actionable strategies.
• Willingness to conduct field visits and work closely with restaurant operations teams.
