Technician I - Equipment

About the role

Provide equipment support to manufacturing through verification, repair or replacement of defective parts/boards. Ensure test equipment is set up correctly and maintained for efficient production.

Key responsibilities

• Perform equipment set‑up, verification, repair and replacement as required by production.
• Implement and maintain a preventive maintenance (PM) program for test equipment.
• Support equipment qualification, machine buy‑off and ensure compliance with operational standards.
• Conduct analysis, investigations and drive corrective and preventive actions to improve productivity, quality and safety.
• Maintain high quality work, good housekeeping and a safe workplace.
• Initiate equipment improvements and modifications based on data‑driven analysis.

Required profile

• Accountable for delivering business unit objectives and maintaining outstanding work quality.
• Ability to interpret performance indicators and apply structured problem‑solving.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Equipment setup and calibration (e.g., testers, contactors, handlers).
• Preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Root‑cause analysis and corrective action implementation.
• Data analysis for performance monitoring.
