Technical Director, Faith Integration & Programming

About the role

The Technical Director, Faith Integration & Programming provides strategic leadership to embed Christian faith principles into World Vision's development and disaster management programs worldwide. This remote position collaborates with sector leads, regional teams, and field offices to strengthen faith‑based programming.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the integration of the Biblical Empowered Worldview (BEWV) across transformational development, sponsorship, and other sectors.
• Develop and update tools, manuals, and resources to support faith integration and capacity building in field offices.
• Champion Christian Identity programming in restricted and challenging contexts and oversee the creation of learning hubs.
• Guide a small team, ensuring performance, development, and effective collaboration.

Required profile

• Master's degree in International Development, Theology, Social Sciences or related field with formal theological training.
• 5‑7 years of progressive experience in international development and Faith & Development programming, including field‑based work.
• Proven ability to work across multicultural, multi‑country environments and engage faith leaders.
• Demonstrated personal commitment to Christian faith and values.

• Project, programme and organisational management expertise.
