Team Lead, Fund Accounting

About the role

The Team Leader will supervise and support a group of analysts and accountants within the Fund Accounting team, ensuring accurate NAV calculations and financial reporting for multiple funds. Reporting to the Team Manager, the role focuses on workflow distribution, resource optimisation, and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Distribute workflow and optimise resource use across the team.
• Ensure accurate completion of NAVs for multiple unit trusts and investment funds.
• Prepare financial statements and reports for designated funds.
• Monitor monthly reporting for trustees and regulatory agencies.
• Provide on‑the‑job technical training and coaching to team members.
• Organise work, assign tasks, set short‑term priorities and ensure timely, accurate delivery.
• Maintain up‑to‑date procedures and ensure daily compliance.
• Assist the Team Manager in setting goals and objectives.
• Generate and coordinate process and system enhancements.
• Conduct performance management, career development, staffing and disciplinary actions.
