Accounting Controls & Analysis Team Lead

About the role

The Accounting Controls & Analysis Team Lead will supervise the Accounts Payable team, ensure high‑quality service, and drive process improvements across the shared services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise direct reports handling AP tasks, manage daily operations, schedules and contingency plans.
• Resolve escalated customer issues, monitor KPIs, and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee month‑end AP activities, reporting and reconciliation.
• Coach, mentor and evaluate team members, handling performance and behavioral issues.
• Lead process‑improvement projects and maintain SOPs, policies and work instructions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of end‑to‑end Accounts Payable experience and at least 4 years in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
• Strong background in accounting concepts, GRIR/Vendor account reconciliation and advanced analytics.
• Experience in a shared services or BPO environment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proven leadership abilities.
