Tax Specialist – Tax Team Leader

About the role

We are looking for a Tax Specialist to lead our tax team and ensure full compliance with Philippine tax regulations. You will coordinate with external consultants, manage VAT claims, support audits, and drive key tax initiatives such as e‑invoicing and transfer‑pricing documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily tax compliance activities and ensure timely filing of income tax, VAT, withholding tax and other statutory returns.
• Coordinate with external tax consultants and the BIR for audits, assessments and examinations.
• Maintain tax‑related accounts, schedules and supporting documentation, including municipal tax requirements.
• Manage VAT refund applications and support regulatory filings such as SEC Audited Financial Statements and General Information Sheet.
• Provide tax guidance on contracts, transactions and operational activities across Finance, Operations, Credit & Collection and Shared Services.
• Support Treasury functions, bank reconciliations and cash handling processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in tax compliance, accounting or finance.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws (VAT, withholding taxes, corporate income tax).
• Experience coordinating tax audits and working with external consultants.
• CPA certification is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
