About the role
The Tax Specialist – License will manage the application, renewal and documentation of regulatory permits and licenses for the company’s head office, distribution centres and stores. This role ensures compliance with all government requirements and meets filing deadlines.
Key responsibilities
- Apply for and renew permits and licenses with agencies such as BIR, LGU, Barangay, BFP and local health units.
- File required government documents before stipulated deadlines.
- Assess and pay municipal taxes on an annual and quarterly basis.
- Verify completeness of permits and licenses for proper documentation.
- Coordinate with MIS and Ripple for POS permit applications to the BIR.
- Guide the runner/liaison assistant on various errands related to permits.
- Assist in processing POS retirements and repairs.
Required profile
- College graduate in any business discipline; accounting background is a plus.
- Willingness to work onsite at the head office in Binondo, Manila.
- Urgent availability for immediate hiring.
