Tax Specialist – Big Four Accounting Firm

About the role

Join a pioneering team within a leading Australian Big Four accounting firm. You will deliver financial reporting and tax compliance services to dynamic Australian businesses while working from a hybrid home‑office setup in Pampanga.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare Australian financial statements for multiple entity structures and ensure audit readiness.
• Process journals and maintain client accounting systems.
• Develop supporting workpapers for financial reporting.
• Prepare Australian income tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) in line with GST and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with the Australian Taxation Office on client matters.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of Australian public‑practice accounting experience.
• Experience with SME and mid‑market clients (AUD 5M‑100M+ turnover).
• Proven ability to prepare Australian financial statements, tax workpapers and income tax returns.
• Strong understanding of Australian taxation, GST and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical, research and communication skills.
