Tax Consultant – Australian Tax Advisory (Hybrid)

About the role

TOA Global is seeking a Tax Consultant to provide Australian tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse client portfolio. Based in Clark, Philippines, the role operates on a hybrid schedule, Monday‑Friday, 7 am‑4 pm PHT. The successful candidate will work closely with on‑shore teams to deliver high‑quality tax solutions for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate Australian tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships, including calculations for income tax, GST and FBT.
• Deliver tax advisory services covering corporate tax, GST, payroll tax provisions and complex Capital Gains Tax events.
• Provide tax structuring advice across personal, corporate and multi‑tier trust arrangements.
• Support the preparation of documentation, compliance reports and audit submissions for the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
• Conduct technical research on domestic and international tax scenarios and draft briefing notes for senior partners.
• Maintain electronic client files, monitor regulatory changes and assist in business‑development activities.

Required profile

• Minimum 2–3 years of hands‑on experience in Australian tax consulting or compliance within a public practice or corporate environment.
• Strong working knowledge of Australian tax law, including Income Tax, GST, FBT and Capital Gains Tax.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with on‑shore management.
