Tax Compliance Officer

About the role

The Tax Compliance Officer will support the finance team in ensuring the company meets all tax obligations and regulatory requirements in the Philippines. This role involves preparing statutory filings, monitoring ongoing compliance, and assisting with audits and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file government requirements for BIR, SEC, and LGU, including reconciliations, year‑end inventory, and book of accounts.
• Monitor compliance with existing tax regulations and keep the business updated on new tax rulings and issuances.
• Lead implementation of new tax policies within the organization.
• Handle BIR and LGU audits and assessments, and coordinate with external auditors for annual financial statement audits.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of yearly income tax returns and financial statements.
• Manage the accreditation process of the Computerized Accounting System (CAS).

Required profile

• College graduate with a BS in Accountancy.
• Preferably experienced in handling BIR and LGU tax compliance.
• Willing to be assigned to the head office in Binondo, Manila.
