Tax Compliance

About the role

The Tax Compliance role is responsible for ensuring that regional offices adhere to tax regulations and internal financial policies. The incumbent prepares and reviews financial information, manages account records, processes transactions, and provides guidance to finance officers and internal teams on best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor day‑to‑day compliance of regional offices.
• Verify that regional offices meet the requirements of their respective RDO and LGU.
• Check supporting documents for compliance with BIR minimum requirements.
• Assist in the preparation and submission of letters and documents to the BIR.
• Support the preparation of documents during BIR audits.
• Liaise with LGU and other government agencies on behalf of headquarters.
• Prepare and review financial information, manage account records, process transactions, and analyze financial data.
• Advise finance officers, team leaders, and internal departments on compliance best practices.
• Perform other tax‑related tasks as assigned.

Required profile

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to handle multiple projects under pressure.
• Excellent organization and project‑management capabilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant software.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a similar field (preferred).
• Experience in e‑commerce or logistics is a plus.
