Procurement Category Manager – Pooling

About the role

The Procurement Category Manager – Pooling will develop and execute sourcing strategies for assigned sub‑categories, ensuring the supply of goods and services at optimal total cost, quality, and timeline. You will work closely with business stakeholders and suppliers to drive financial performance, compliance, and innovation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze sourcing needs and create category‑specific procurement and contracting strategies, including cost analysis and negotiation plans.
• Run RFP processes and manage contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and maximize regional/global leverage.
• Collaborate with business units to align sourcing strategies with operational requirements.
• Identify, engage, and evaluate suppliers, monitoring performance and implementing improvement plans as needed.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies and relevant government regulations.

Required profile

• Background in procurement category management with end‑to‑end ownership.
• Strong analytical abilities and experience with cost‑saving initiatives.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Leadership experience and ability to manage vendor relationships.
