T3 System Engineer (Microsoft & Linux)

About the role

REST Solution is seeking a T3 System Engineer with deep expertise in both Microsoft and Linux environments. You will design, implement, and maintain complex on‑premises and hybrid infrastructures, ensuring high availability, security, and performance for our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy and manage scalable Microsoft and Linux server infrastructures.
• Architect, harden and maintain Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory services.
• Administer RHEL, AlmaLinux and Ubuntu servers, including related services.
• Implement virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper‑V, handling clustering and live migration.
• Develop automation and IaC using PowerShell, Bash and Ansible.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and incident response for P1/P2 issues.
• Configure backup, disaster‑recovery, monitoring, logging and alerting solutions.
• Integrate on‑prem systems with Azure, M365 and third‑party cloud services.
• Conduct security assessments, apply CIS benchmarks and ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and Linux distributions.
• Proven expertise in virtualization (VMware, Hyper‑V) and storage networking.
• Hands‑on automation skills using PowerShell, Bash and Ansible.
• Ability to perform complex troubleshooting and lead incident response.
• Knowledge of cloud identity integration (Azure AD/Entra ID) and hybrid environments.
