About the role
We are seeking a Senior Linux Administrator to join our Infrastructure Shared Services team. The role oversees the administration, security, reliability and performance of enterprise Linux environments across physical, virtual and cloud platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for Linux administration, incident resolution and lifecycle management.
- Manage Linux servers on‑premise, virtualised and in Azure/AWS, including patching, upgrades and vulnerability remediation.
- Lead troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and implement preventive actions.
- Develop automation and configuration‑management solutions using Ansible, Bash or Python.
- Support virtualization (VMware, KVM), storage (LVM, SAN, dm‑multipath) and backup/disaster‑recovery processes.
- Collaborate with Cloud, Network, Security, Database, Application and Service Delivery teams globally.
Required profile
- 8+ years of IT infrastructure experience with at least 7 years of hands‑on Linux administration.
- Strong knowledge of Red Hat, SUSE, Ubuntu, Rocky or AlmaLinux and enterprise Linux hardening.
- Experience with Azure and/or AWS cloud services.
- Proven ability to work shifting schedules, on‑call rotation and after‑hours support.

- Security and monitoring: Microsoft Active Directory/LDAP, Cortex XDR, Nagios, BMC/MOMA
- Automation/configuration: Ansible, Bash, Python
