Supervising Associate - Commercial Excellence (Strategic Pricing & Insights)

About the role

EY GDS is hiring a Supervising Associate for its Commercial Excellence team, within the Strategic Pricing & Insights unit, reporting to an Assistant Director. The role provides financial and commercial support for large and complex opportunities, helping develop competitive pricing strategies, prepare cost-to-serve estimates and create client-facing proposals.

Key responsibilities

• Support pricing and commercial activities: business cases, charging models and client-facing proposals and presentations
• Build financial models and cost-to-serve analyses using Microsoft Excel and EY pricing tools, and forecast deal economics
• Gather and synthesize price, solution and commercial benchmarks to position EY's offerings
• Draft financial and commercial summaries for client discussions and internal reviews, and support pursuit teams during negotiations
• Contribute to price testing, solution benchmarking and positioning strategies based on client willingness to pay
• Help evaluate input-, output- and outcome-based commercial models
• Collect market intelligence, competitor pricing insights and economic indicators
• Promote the use of best-practice pricing tools and templates, and mentor junior team members

Required profile

• Graduate in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis or commercial support roles
• Fluent English, oral and written
• Ability to prioritize under tight deadlines, solve problems innovatively and communicate clearly

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling
• Familiarity with financial modeling and budgeting
• Exposure to professional services or pricing tools is an advantage

Flexible working hours based on supported geography; occasional travel may be required.
