SOX 404 Analyst (Senior) - Global Finance

About the role

Johnson & Johnson Global Finance is hiring a Compliance - SOX 404 Senior Analyst (PG24) in Taguig, Philippines, within the Global Services Finance team's Compliance - Risk Management process area. The role identifies, assesses, tests and monitors SOX 404 financial reporting risks, focusing on testing key controls for Management Reporting Companies (MRCs) across the company. It is a mid-shift position.

Key responsibilities

• Follow applicable laws and regulations and the J&J Credo, and maintain operational excellence.
• Perform process walkthroughs, document process narratives and flows, and evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of key controls.
• Assess the SOX 404 control impact of identified deficiencies and monitor remediation with process owners through the SOX PMO.
• Conduct SOX testing via interviews and paper-trail investigations, complete work papers and summarize findings according to department standards and the model audit program.
• Review recommendations with the supervisor, SOX PMO and stakeholders, and participate in meetings to finalize findings.
• Design test plans and approaches based on risk analysis, prepare foundational analytics, and act as an advisor to business partners.
• Plan and perform SOX 404 testing and coordinate compliance of internal controls over financial reporting with the SOX 404 PMO.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or another business discipline.
• 3-5 years of work experience; 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Accounting background for payroll and finance, and risk management, SOX and user access.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• CIA, CPA, CMA, CFA or CISA strongly preferred; Sarbanes-Oxley and audit experience strongly preferred; fluency in multiple languages preferred.
