Strategy Manager

About the role

Prudential's Strategy & Market Insights team drives qualitative strategic research, competitive intelligence and market analysis that inform the long-term strategic agenda of its Philippine life insurance business. With a management consulting background, the Strategy Manager synthesises market, regulatory and macroeconomic insights into strategic narratives and executive communications, and contributes to strategic planning, cross-functional initiatives and procurement preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative research on the Philippine life insurance market, the regulatory landscape (IC, BSP), macroeconomic trends and competitors, and turn findings into recommendations for senior leadership.
• Support the annual and multi-year strategic planning cycle, including corporate goals, business unit strategies and priorities, and help translate ambitions into roadmaps monitored with the AVP/VP.
• Lead primary and secondary research to surface trends, opportunities and risks, and turn complex analyses into clear recommendations and leadership-ready narratives.
• Prepare executive communication materials such as presentations, storyboards and strategic briefings for RCEO sessions, QBPR, GEC and strategic planning forums.
• Develop prioritisation frameworks, impact assessments and business planning inputs to support resource allocation and portfolio management.
• Coordinate across business, distribution, marketing, finance and governance teams to gather qualitative inputs and drive initiatives from planning to execution.
• Lead procurement documentation and vendor/partner assessment for strategic projects, including scoping, RFP development and evaluation criteria.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, understand Pru Life UK Compliance Standards, and report compliance matters honestly to the Compliance Officer.
