Social Media and E-Commerce Manager

About the role

A pet wellness brand that makes vet-formulated supplements and interactive enrichment products for dogs is looking for an all-round Social Media and E-Commerce Manager. The role covers social media management across e-commerce channels and customer engagement, with marketing support, and is open to candidates based in Metro Manila. It is a full-time position with 100% remote work under an independent contractor agreement, working 8am-5pm New Zealand business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Social media management and content creation: plan and run a content calendar on Meta (Facebook and Instagram), create posts, captions and visuals, and keep brand consistency.
• Community management: drive engagement, respond to comments and messages, and identify potential community members.
• Analyse and report social media performance metrics to optimise engagement and growth.
• Support general marketing, blog posts and brand campaigns with creative input.
• Handle inbound customer inquiries by email, chat and social helpdesk, and assist with Shopify store maintenance and order processing.
• Create customer email content and build flows to improve retention and lifetime value.
• Support SEO initiatives and monitor customer feedback to report recurring issues.
• Maintain a calendar of promotional dates, product launches and seasonal campaigns.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) e-commerce environment.
• Experience managing content strategies on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and LinkedIn.
• Strong e-commerce customer support background with a focus on customer experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, attention to detail and ability to handle several tasks at once.
