Spring Boot Developer (Cebu)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Spring Boot Developer to join our growing team in Cebu. You will work on designing, building, and maintaining web service applications while collaborating closely with senior engineers and product owners.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in daily stand‑ups and sprint planning within an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Design, code, test, debug, and deploy Java‑based web services using Spring Boot.
• Develop front‑end features with at least one framework such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Write clean, maintainable code and create unit tests with JUnit, Mockito or PowerMock.
• Document technical specifications, API contracts (Swagger/OpenAPI), and support knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot issues, perform code reviews, and incorporate feedback from senior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
• 2‑3 years of professional experience as a Full‑Stack Developer using Spring Boot.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team.
• Ability to read UML diagrams (use case, activity, sequence).
