Solutions Architect – Workday & Salesforce

About the role

Within the Design Authority you will work on architecture for business systems and corporate services, primarily focusing on Workday and Salesforce. You will align business needs with the long‑term IT strategy and act as a bridge between Global Technical Service teams and business engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver architecture documents that meet stakeholder requirements and align with company strategy.
• Gather and document functional and technical requirements.
• Present overall architecture to various audiences and create long‑term roadmaps.
• Chair technical sessions with engineering teams and produce written technical and functional documentation.
• Investigate the current ‘as‑is’ state of systems and networks, identifying security concerns.
• Define and document implementation of new systems or interfaces between systems.

Required profile

• All‑round analytical background in IT infrastructure and/or systems development.
• Strong communication skills to understand business needs and address technical challenges.
• Proven experience as an architect or in a similar role, with knowledge of security architecture.
• Ability to quickly absorb technical details of new or unfamiliar technologies.

• Salesforce (mandatory)

• Mulesoft or similar integration tools
• Cloud solutions and high‑availability deployment strategies
• Solutions architecture and security principles
• Familiarity with TOGAF (or similar frameworks)
• Modeling languages: BPMN, UML, ArchiMate
