Solar Designer – Remote Contractor (Philippines)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Solar Designer to create high‑performance solar layouts and manage the administrative tasks that move projects from quote to installation. This remote, contractor position supports an Australian renewable‑energy company and is open to candidates based in the Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Generate professional solar layouts and designs using Pylon.
• Prepare accurate quotes for the sales team, accounting for components and labour.
• Follow up on pending approvals to keep project timelines on track.
• Serve as the primary administrative link between the office and installation teams.
• Draft and send installation briefing emails with site maps, equipment lists and safety notes.
• Coordinate schedule confirmations with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintain and update the CRM with lead and project statuses.
• Handle routine email correspondence professionally.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the pre‑installation phase.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience as a Solar Designer or in a similar role.
• Self‑starter attitude with the ability to work independently.
• Exceptional written English for professional communication.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
