Software Engineer – Securities Operations

About the role

Avaloq is seeking a Software Engineer to join its Securities Operations team. You will work on end‑to‑end Investment Transactions solutions, contributing to both customer‑specific SaaS configurations and core banking modules.

Key responsibilities

• Write solution designs for new developments and review them with technical leads and architects.
• Implement new business functionality across the appropriate software layer and create automated tests.
• Own assigned modules, ensuring ongoing maintenance and enhancements.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and consultants worldwide.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong interest in banking and financial services.
• Excellent programming abilities and analytical problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication in English and a client‑focused mindset.
• Motivated, collaborative, and structured approach to work.
• Eagerness to learn and work across multiple software layers.
