Software Engineer

About the role

The Medical City Ortigas is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality software solutions that support the organization’s healthcare services. The role involves collaborating with users and stakeholders to understand requirements, translating them into functional applications, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new and enhance existing applications by analyzing user needs and identifying improvement opportunities.
• Maintain application software by monitoring, diagnosing, and fixing straightforward defects.
• Research and interpret data trends to inform digital product and service design.
• Produce and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation for all software components.
• Maintain a development roadmap to prioritize work in line with business requirements.
• Provide fault isolation and rapid resolution to minimize system downtime.
• Continuously build personal capabilities through training, conferences, and industry literature.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of professional experience with modern programming languages and frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
