Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join Xerox’s Cebu team, developing modern Java‑based applications that power our print and services portfolio. The role is ideal for a mid‑level professional who enjoys collaborative, agile development and wants to contribute to innovative solutions for a global workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, test and maintain Java applications using modern development practices.
• Collaborate with engineers, product owners and stakeholders to deliver new features and enhancements.
• Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve software issues to improve quality and performance.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including design artifacts.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of professional software development experience.
• Strong background in Java and object‑oriented design.
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
