Software Engineer (Full Stack Developer)

About the role

Join a fast‑growing global engineering team as a Full Stack Software Engineer. You will collaborate with a California‑based group and a night‑shift team aligned to your time zone, building and supporting applications used across multiple sites worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications in partnership with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Contribute to shared codebases using Git, code reviews, and best‑practice version control.
• Build modern frontend experiences with React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS and UI frameworks such as shadcn.
• Develop backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js, Python, and Express.js.
• Design, query, and optimise SQL (MySQL, SQLite) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
• Communicate regularly with California‑based teams, including occasional night‑shift overlap.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full stack, improving scalability and performance.
• Mentor teammates, share knowledge, and participate in planning and continuous‑improvement sessions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a reputable web‑development bootcamp, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience working in collaborative software development environments.
• Strong communication skills for cross‑functional and globally distributed teams.
• Ability to attend occasional off‑hours meetings to maintain alignment across time zones.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and comfortable in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented setting.
