Software Engineer – ABR/S Customization

About the role

Join Avaloq’s ABR/S Community as a Software Engineer, focusing on customization, data migration and release support for wealth‑management technology solutions. You will work closely with clients, business analysts and software partners to deliver high‑quality implementations across on‑premise, BPaaS and SaaS projects.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze customer requirements and design solutions using Avaloq’s customization layer.
• Set up demo data, manage releases, and perform data migration using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Generate high‑quality data for internal customers and resolve release issues, data inconsistencies and incidents.
• Upgrade and optimise existing migration modules.
• Provide consulting support to internal and external users of your software modules.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering or a related IT field.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and the software development life cycle.
• Excellent analytical and systematic problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
