Snowflake Developer – Manager/Senior Consultant

About the role

We are seeking a Snowflake Developer at a managerial or senior consultant level to design, build, and operate modern data and analytics platforms on Snowflake. The role will enable the organisation to deliver scalable, secure, and cost‑efficient data solutions for reporting, data engineering, and AI/ML use cases.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Snowflake‑based data warehouses, data sharing, and Snowpark data‑engineering solutions.
• Build ELT pipelines using SQL, dbt, Snowpipe, streams, and tasks, supporting batch and near‑real‑time ingestion.
• Create curated data models, secure views, and semantic layers for BI and downstream consumption.
• Define platform architecture, account strategy, and environment standards, ensuring alignment with security, IAM, networking, and cost‑performance practices.
• Provide governance, design reviews, and reusable accelerators across delivery teams.
• Develop dimensional or Data Vault models, implement data quality, metadata, and lineage practices.
• Support advanced analytics workloads, including data preparation for AI/ML and Snowpark processing.
• Monitor performance, tune queries, and manage cost controls using Snowflake resource monitors and warehouse sizing.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering Snowflake solutions in a consulting or enterprise environment.
• Strong understanding of modern data platform concepts, data warehousing, and lakehouse patterns.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders, data engineers, and security teams to ensure platform governance and performance.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a focus on delivering high‑quality, scalable solutions.
