Site Inspector - Reclamation

About the role

The Site Inspector will oversee reclamation activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements. This role involves daily monitoring of PVD installation, marine operations, and sand infilling processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review Method Statements (MS) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
• Monitor, verify, and maintain daily records of PVD installation works.
• Prepare and submit daily progress updates based on actual site conditions.
• Monitor and record marine vessel movements and operations.
• Report sand infilling volumes for each reclamation phase.
• Maintain and update site records, including Sample Registry, Sand Infilling Volumes, UXO Encounters, and equipment breakdowns.
• Supervise and witness 24/7 PVD installation activities and rig calibration.
• Witness soil sample collection and maintain test records.
• Conduct random day and night surveillance inspections at sand discharge points.
• Witness and record bunkering activities of marine vessels and ullage measurements.
• Supervise dry earth movement works, including surcharge placement and removal.
• Verify compliance of construction activities with approved specifications, procedures, and quality requirements.
• Report site observations, non‑conformities, and construction issues to the project team.
