Shift Manager – Restaurant Operations

About the role

The Shift Manager oversees daily restaurant operations in Lipa, ensuring smooth opening, peak‑time service, and closing procedures. This role combines team leadership, guest experience management, and operational excellence to drive sales and maintain high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute opening and mid‑shift procedures, including the QSCH Restaurant Checklist, to prepare the store for service.
• Manage the floor during peak hours, delivering excellent service and a positive, energetic atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining, restroom, kitchen, preparation areas and exterior spaces, and ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Engage guests to provide a memorable dining experience and achieve service time and product quality targets.
• Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Conduct closing shift procedures, including line checks and store set‑up for the next day.
• Lead the restaurant team to consistently meet operational, sales, and profit goals.
• Foster a collaborative work environment that empowers team members.
• Implement local marketing programs to attract new guests and build loyalty.
• Hold regular team meetings, recognize high performers, and administer the Key Management System.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Food & Beverage Services Management, Hospitality, Tourism, Hotel Management, Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Shift Manager or Store Supervisor in the food‑and‑beverage industry.
• Hands‑on knowledge of restaurant operations, including service, cleanliness, and guest interaction.
• Ability to lead, motivate and develop a diverse team.
