In-Room Dining Assistant Manager

About the role

The In-Room Dining Assistant Manager supports the In-Room Dining Manager in delivering legendary service at Mandarin Oriental, Makati. This pre‑opening position ensures operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and team development as the hotel prepares to open in 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations, ensuring grooming, presentation, and service standards are consistently met.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping, Kitchen, Engineering, and other departments to guarantee seamless order delivery and food quality.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, resolve issues promptly, and promote personalized in‑room dining experiences.
• Support budget management, cost control, and revenue‑generation initiatives such as upselling and menu knowledge.
• Participate in promotional activities, market trend analysis, and cross‑selling of hotel services.
• Prepare staff schedules, conduct briefings, and foster a motivated, high‑performing team.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
• 2–3 years supervisory experience in In‑Room Dining or Food & Beverage within a luxury hotel.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication abilities.
• Basic financial awareness for cost control and revenue generation.
• Professional grooming and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
