SEO Specialist (Contractor)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEO Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. You will act as the subject‑matter expert for building and optimizing our clients' online presence, ensuring high‑quality delivery across technical, content, and strategic dimensions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic SEO recommendations that go beyond technical execution.
• Analyze client websites and online activities to devise actionable content, UX, and technical SEO plans.
• Manage VIP and escalated accounts, setting realistic expectations for rankings, traffic, and conversions.
• Conduct technical SEO deliverables such as website audits, competitor and keyword analysis, on‑page optimization, schema markup, and link‑building campaigns.
• Set up and maintain analytics tools including Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, Bing Webmaster, and local search platforms.
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, and content writers to coordinate tasks and communicate progress.
• Monitor campaign performance, report insights, and continuously improve processes based on industry updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of hands‑on SEO experience.
• Self‑starter capable of working with minimal supervision.
• Strong project and account management abilities.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
