Senior US Accountant – End-to-End Accounting (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior US Accountant to lead month‑end close and financial reporting for US clients in fast‑growing SME environments. This remote position works directly with US finance leaders and offers high ownership in a lean, high‑impact setting.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full month‑end close processes under US GAAP.
• Review journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• Manage close timelines and coordinate deliverables across accounting workflows.
• Partner directly with US Controllers, finance teams and stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement opportunities.
• Support and guide junior accounting team members as needed.
• Maintain strong controls and reporting accuracy across finance operations.

Required profile

• 5‑7+ years of accounting experience with strong US GAAP exposure.
• Proven experience leading end‑to‑end close cycles.
• Strong general ledger and financial reporting expertise.
• Experience working directly with US stakeholders or international teams.
• ERP/accounting systems experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to thrive in fast‑paced business environments.
• Ownership mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
