Senior Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain highly available platforms that power developer tooling and partner integrations for Maya’s enterprise customers. You will work both independently and collaboratively across cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, cost‑effective solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Translate project requirements into robust technical designs.
• Contribute to architecture design discussions and future implementation planning.
• Develop features across frontend and backend stacks.
• Partner with service engineering teams to ensure scalability, easy deployment, and maintainability.
• Build secure, reusable APIs for internal and external consumption.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 6‑8 years of professional experience with JavaScript/Node.js or TypeScript in both frontend and backend contexts.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior engineers.
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging, and ownership mindset.
