Senior Legal Manager

About the role

The Senior Legal Manager provides day‑to‑day legal support to FRPH and collaborates with internal teams, external partners, service providers and government authorities. The role works closely with the UNIQLO ASEAN/Global Legal team to ensure legal compliance across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Advise, draft, review and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including tenancy, marketing, supply of goods & services, employment and non‑disclosure agreements.
• Support new business initiatives such as entity set‑up, licensing and regulatory compliance.
• Provide guidance on data protection, emerging legislation and other legal matters.
• Manage litigation, dispute resolution and internal/external investigations.
• Coordinate corporate secretarial activities and support procurement contract management.
• Offer legal advice to operational departments on advertising, competition, IT, IP, employment, property and other areas.
• Develop legal awareness, deliver training and assist stores with customer claims and compliance issues.
• Conduct legal research for product development, advertising compliance and other business needs.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience as a lawyer or legal counsel handling commercial matters, with strong consumer‑protection and contract knowledge.
• Experience with multinational corporations is advantageous.
• Background in real estate, e‑commerce, data privacy or litigation is a plus.
• Proactive, highly committed, analytical and commercial mindset with a passion for knowledge sharing.
• Strong negotiation and business‑partnering capabilities.
