Senior Legal Manager

About the role

The Senior Legal Manager provides day‑to‑day legal support to FRPH and collaborates with employees, external partners, service providers and government authorities. The role works closely with the UNIQLO ASEAN/Global Legal team to ensure compliance and mitigate legal risk across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts such as tenancy, marketing, supply, employment and NDAs.
• Support new business initiatives, including entity set‑up and licensing requirements.
• Provide legal advice on data protection, new legislation and other applicable laws.
• Manage litigation, dispute resolution and internal/external investigations.
• Assist corporate secretarial functions and maintain company records.
• Advise operational departments on advertising, competition, IT, IP, data privacy, employment and property law.
• Develop legal awareness, deliver training and create/maintain legal templates.
• Support contract lifecycle management, including extensions, scope changes and vendor disputes.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Information Security and Store functions on compliance and risk matters.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of experience as a lawyer or legal counsel handling commercial matters, with strong consumer protection and contract knowledge.
• Experience with multinational companies is advantageous.
• Background in real estate, e‑commerce, data privacy or litigation is a plus.
• Proactive, commercially minded and able to act as a trusted business partner.
