Senior Graphic Designer (FMCG/Food Packaging) - Remote

About the role

A fast-growing global FMCG company supplying leading retailers across North America, Australia, Europe and Asia is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to create bold, commercially successful designs for its brands. The role covers packaging, presentations, marketing materials and digital assets for products sold through major retailers, combining creativity, technical packaging expertise and project management. It is a full-time remote position.

Key responsibilities

• Design stand-up pouches, flexible packaging, cartons, labels, display cases and retail-ready packaging, including branding concepts and production-ready artwork and mock-ups.
• Manage artwork from concept to production, review proofs, approve artwork and coordinate with printers and manufacturers.
• Create mock-up files to scale using metric and US measurement systems, ensuring quality and accuracy.
• Design product presentations, pitch decks, catalogues, flyers, brochures, magazine ads and sales materials.
• Create website layouts, digital ads, social media assets and email marketing content, and support retailer presentations, product launches and new business opportunities.
• Work with the Head of Product Development in Sydney and the Technical Director in California, and coordinate with printers and suppliers in China and Thailand.
• Be flexible with working hours to support print approvals and production deadlines.

Required profile

• 5-7+ years of experience in FMCG, CPG, packaging or consumer products.
• Strong portfolio across packaging, branding, print, presentation and digital design.
• Experience working with global suppliers and manufacturers.
• Experience using AI tools to improve design workflows and productivity.
• Comfortable working with teams across Australia, Asia and the USA.

Required skills

• Advanced Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
• Understanding of packaging production, print processes and prepress requirements.
